Top your Thanksgiving turkey with this delicious gravy.

Country Gravy

Serves: 2 cups

  • 3 tbsp. Our Family® Corn Starch
  • 3 tbsp. fat drippings
  • 1 tsp. Our Family® Instant Chicken Bouillon
  • 2 cups Our Family® Whole Milk
  • Our Family® Salt and Pepper to taste
  1. Add instant chicken bouillon to milk and mix thoroughly.
  2. Heat fat drippings on medium heat (do not overheat).
  3. Add corn starch to fat drippings and stir to make a roux.
  4. Slowly add milk stirring constantly and increase heat slightly.
  5. Constantly stir with a whisk and reduce until gravy becomes thick.
  6. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Chef’s Tip: Add 1 cup cooked sausage crumbles for extra flavor.
