Fresh Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Serves: 12-24

  • 12 to 24 medium sized fresh strawberries with stems (washed, dried and at room temperature)
  • 12 oz. package Our Family Mini Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips, divided – 1 cup for melting and 1 cup for garnish)
  1. Wash strawberries and pat dry. Let stand to reach room temperature.
  2. Melt 1 cup of mini semi-sweet chocolate chips in microwave for 1 minute Stir, microwave in 15 second intervals, stirring until melted and creamy.
  3. Dip strawberries in melted chocolate to the base of the stem.
  4. Roll coated strawberries in remaining 1 cup of mini chocolate chips to garish.
  5. Place on wax paper and refrigerate until ready to serve.
