Carry on the Walker family tradition by making your own egg noodles!
Granny’s Egg Noodles
- 1 cup Our Family® Flour
- 1 tsp. Our Family® Salt
- 1 Our Family® Egg
- 2 Our Family® Egg Yolks
- 2 tbsp. water + more as needed
Mix all ingredients, I use my stand mixer. Add a little more water at a time until you have a soft dough. The dough can be on the sticky side, as you’ll be rolling it in flour.
I work in double batches of this recipe. Once the dough is made, you can continue making noodles by hand or noodle maker. Using grandma’s hand crank noodle maker is the kid’s favorite, so I divide the dough into 4 or 5 pieces and have the kids start flouring and flattening before using the noodle maker.
