Combine the classic flavors of red velvet cake and cinnamon rolls in this easy-to-make recipe. With a rich cocoa-infused dough and a sweet cream cheese icing, these rolls are a decadent addition to your Valentine’s Day breakfast or brunch.
Ingredients
2 cans (17.5 oz. each) Our Family® Jumbo Cinnamon Rolls with Cream Cheese Icing
1 cup plus 1 ½ Tbsp Our Family® Heavy Whipping Cream
2 Tbsp Our Family® Unsweetened Baking Cocoa
2 tsp Our Family® Red Food Coloring
¾ cup Our Family® Light Brown Sugar
½ cup Our Family® Unsalted Butter (1 stick), melted
Preheat oven to 350°; spray 13 x 9-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
Place cinnamon rolls in prepared dish; reserve icing. In small bowl, whisk 1 cup cream, cocoa powder and food coloring; pour over cinnamon rolls.
In medium bowl, whisk brown sugar, butter and cinnamon; pour over cinnamon rolls. Cover dish with nonstick foil; bake 35 minutes or until cinnamon rolls have doubled in size. Cool cinnamon rolls 10 minutes.
In small bowl, whisk cream cheese, reserved icing and remaining 1 ½ Tbsp cream; drizzle over cinnamon rolls and sprinkle with sprinkles. Makes 10 cinnamon rolls.
